Go Fest 2024! a journey full of purpose

This is the fifth consecutive year that I have come to GoFest! and I am always welcomed with the same warmth. Although it is hard for me to travel and get away from my family and my team! it is always worth returning to Colombia. As a TV commercial said: “The risk is that you want to stay.”

This year! in particular! is an even bigger challenge! as it is the first year for SquadS Ventures and uk phone number data our three startups and teams: Mental Test Lab! Inbound Tools and Boris Returns.

This makes time tighter than ever. However! my commitment to return to share here in Bogotá is unwavering. I have a super-packed schedule! but I am excited about everything we are going to accomplish.

Last week in Colombia was an unforgettable experience! full of learning! meetings with leaders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and conversations that left me with much to reflect on. From the first moment! I realized the great potential of local entrepreneurs and how the country is positioning itself as a hotbed of innovation in Latin America.

SaaS Investors and Entrepreneurs: Big Panel

One of the highlights was my participation in a panel about SaaS. What caught my attention the most was the passion with which entrepreneurs are solving complex problems through scalable solutions. We discussed how they are not only focused on the local market! but also on expanding their impact globally. The ideas that emerged in this space made me see that Colombia is generating talent and companies capable of competing in any market. 

Global Corporate Innovation: A Challenge and an Opportunity

At the International Corporate Innovation panel ! the conversation focused on how corporations can leverage the agility of startups to stay competitive.

It was interesting to see how these large companies are increasingly open to collaborating with can money buy happiness? science answers! entrepreneurs to solve internal problems and improve their processes.

Endeavor Colombia Mentoring: Realistic Perspectives on Investment

The mentoring sessions with Endeavor Colombia were! without a doubt! a space where I was able to contribute my experience in investment issues.

We talk about the many “no’s” that entrepreneurs must receive before reaching that longed-for “yes” from an investor.

Through practical examples! we discussed how it is essential not to get discouraged! but to see each rejection as an opportunity to improve the proposal. The energy and hunger to learn of these entrepreneurs was contagious.
